I have never had a photoshoot before. I don’t know how to pose?

I understand being in front of the camera can feel a bit confronting. Sometimes you don’t know how to stand or where to look. Well, leave that with me. You don’t need to know how to pose to have a photoshoot. I provide full direction during the shoot to ensure you get the most flattering photo.

I don’t know what to do about hair and makeup?

I highly recommend you getting professional hair and makeup done for your headshot and branding images. Take the stress out of worrying about your hair and make up and and leave it in the hands of the professionals. I have a team of hair and make up artists I work with that are AMAZING and know how to do make up that looks great on camera but also natural. It also gives you an hour to sit back and relax and calm the nerves before your shoot. I find that once clients have had their hair and make up done a whole new confidence shines through and they are ready for their shoot!

I am not sure what clothes I should wear for my headshot / branding shoot?

As part of our pre shoot call we discuss all things clothes and styling. We discuss your style and brand and they types of images you want to get. This may dictate the types of clothes you will wear. I will always say to bring multiple sets of clothes and accessories on the day as you may change your mind once we get started. Having a “base” outfit that can be easilys changed with different accessories or jackets is a great way to get a variety of images.

I need to get branding images done but I’m not sure what location to use as my business is mainly online and I don’t have a shop front.

On your call we can discuss the best location that suits your brand. I can bring backdrops to a location for a plain headshot or alternatively there are some great park or street options for branding shoots. There is also the option of hiring studio or styled homes (at additional cost)
